Recall
Notes you keep. Cards you remember.
Terms of use
Last updated 8 September 2026
These terms cover your use of Recall, run by Froilan Sulit . Using the application means accepting them. They are short on purpose.
Your account
One account per person, and the details on it should be true — a reset link sent to an address you cannot open is a locked door. Keep your password to yourself; anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
If you are under 13, an account should be created and supervised by a parent, guardian or teacher.
What you write stays yours
Your notes, card sets and pictures remain yours. Recall stores and displays them so the application can work, and does nothing else with them. Publishing a share link, a challenge or a duel is you choosing to show that material to whoever holds the link.
What you may not do
- Upload anything you have no right to share, or anything unlawful.
- Upload material that exists to harass or harm somebody.
- Try to reach another person's account, notes or cards.
- Automate the application, or hammer it in a way that spoils it for others.
- Take the starter library apart to republish it as your own.
An account used for any of these can be suspended or removed.
The starter library
The sets published in the Library are provided to study from and to take copies of for your own use. A copy you take is yours to edit and delete. They are offered as a convenience and may be corrected, replaced or withdrawn at any time.
Points, levels and streaks
XP, levels, streaks and leaderboard places are part of the app's encouragement, not property, and carry no value outside it. They may be adjusted or reset — in particular where they have been earned by gaming the mechanics rather than by studying.
What Recall does not promise
Recall is offered as it is. It is a study aid; it does not promise that you will pass anything, and the schedule it suggests is a guide rather than a guarantee. It may be unavailable at times, and it may lose data — please keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. The export tools exist for exactly that, and they produce ordinary files that open without Recall.
To the extent the law allows, Froilan Sulit is not liable for loss arising from your use of the application.
Ending it
You may stop using Recall whenever you like and ask for your account to be deleted — see the privacy policy for how. An account may be suspended or closed if these terms are broken, or if the application itself is discontinued; where there is a choice, you will be given notice and a chance to export what you have.
Changes
These terms may change. When they do, the date at the top changes and you will be told inside the app. Continuing to use Recall after that means accepting the new version.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of the Philippines .
